Barry has helped my husband and I purchase two homes and refinance both at times when rates became more favorable. He is always extremely thorough and thoughtful in presenting ALL of the options even if it does not directly benefit him or his company. We would never work with anyone else!

I bought my home several years ago and used Barry as my lender. However, I've spoken with Barry in detail several times since then and he is always there to provide me options to choose from whenever it is time to check in on a better deal.

Update (12/20/2019): PRMI just closed on our 7th loan since my initial review in 2017! As always, they were top notch; providing excellent support, addressing any issues, and communicating with us promptly. The PRMI branch in Lexington Park, MD is simply the best!
Original Post (5/2017): As a new real estate investor, I was referred to Barry and his team by my realtor. In Feb. 2017, he welcomed us in after normal hours and listened to my wife and I's goals, ambitions, and plans for utilizing real estate as our investment strategy. Only after listening did he formulate and propose financing strategies designed specifically for us. Since that meeting, we have formed a great working relationship where he has served as a mentor and guide. He has provided so much value to us and gone to great lengths in explaining the lending process. I'm an engineer and hence very detail-oriented. Understanding that, Barry has gone above and beyond by providing me with detailed spreadsheets breaking down the costs associated with the entire acquisition process. This helped tremendously as I have applied this knowledge to many different properties in search of the right ones. As I'm currently closing on 2 rental properties, I plan to continue to utilize Barry as an important resource as I continue to expand my portfolio.
In summary, he has served the role as a mentor, a guide, an educator, and (honestly) I wouldn't consider it a stretch to call him my friend who I can speak freely to. He is a completely genuine guy who caters to what works best for you. He is very involved with the community and has a long history doing this work. Whether you're an investor, looking for your dream home, or just buying your starter home, there is absolutely no need to look any further, Barry is the guy to go to for your lending needs.
