I had been looking for investment property in various cities across the central US without adequate success, to some degree because I did not find people helpful enough. Perhaps business was just too good. Then in Baton Rouge I found a very helpful property management lady, who recommended a very helpful real estate lady who recommended "her mortgage man". After talking to a variety of mortgage officers it was suddenly such a delight to find Garth Cook. The rules under which he works were just right, the paperwork requested was just what I expected, my questions have all been answered very promptly, and everything has flowed very smoothly.
