More frequent communication or updates. As a first time home buyer I think frequent updates would help, whether email or texts, even if there is no update. More like, “here’s where your application is” or “this is what this means.” The videos that were sent when a major change happened, more gave here’s what it means. So maybe timelines, that explained in about 3 weeks here’s what should happen. Or we just submitted your application, we should here back in x amount of time. And if that’s not the case, a follow up.
I think I reached out more to get information than was given info. A lot of the time, I spoke to an assistant, Kassie who was phenomenal in giving updates when I asked but I think if you work hard to get the business, work hard to keep the business.
I completely understand heavy case load and different people needing different things, but even if it’s a once a week email, or reminder that says reach out, that would go a long way. Maybe more so for first timers than people who’ve gone through this process before.

I’ve never left a review for any company or individual, but Dustin went well above and beyond to provide us with anything to help us close. Even when other resources were lacking (realtor). Dustin made every effort possible to accommodate us. I greatly appreciate everything he’s done for us. Words honestly cannot describe our appreciation, so this was the best I could do.
