Great process

This was an unpleasant experience. I didn't receive any updates. I was told to get them from the Buyer's Agent. Unfortunately, she didn't have updates either. The original offer was submitted with a qualification letter from PRMI. According to the letter, that Skart signed, the information used to determine if the Buyer was qualified for a mortgage was provided by the Buyer, "verbally". Nothing had been verified, not even the Buyer's credit. The Sellers had just lost a deal because the Buyer had not been properly qualified by their lender and their qualification letter said the same thing Skart's did. I called Skart to go over it and to explain what had happened with the previous buyer. Skart said this Buyer hadn't provided any documents to him either, and that he hadn't pulled her credit. I explained that the Sellers weren't going to accept the offer without knowing that the Buyer was actually able to afford the mortgage and would be approved so I asked for a verified "Pre-Approval" Letter. Skart told me he'd be more than happy to provide it, but it would cost $500 and if the Sellers wanted it, they had to pay for it. The Sellers weren't wrong to request that the Buyer's information be properly verified, however, they didn't feel this was something they should pay for. I don't know whether PRMI made the Buyer pay for the Pre-Approval or not, but the mere fact that Skart would ask for such a thing was ridiculous. It took a few weeks for PRMI to issue a "verified" Pre-Approval and after working on the loan for over 3 months, it did finally close. Needless to say, my experience with Skart and PRMI was not very pleasant. There was a woman at PRMI that I spoke with who was helpful and did try to answer my questions. Unfortunately, I can't remember her name. I hope that PRMI knows who she is because I would like to thank her. I don't feel that Skart was very professional with me throughout this transaction. Therefore, as a result, I wouldn't recommend him.

My name is Brittany and I am a a new homeowner who went through Skart as their mortgage lender and I couldn't have it any other way. Skart has been amazing in every way he made this experience one of the best experiences I ever have been through especially being my first time buying a home it was easy..simple and not stressful at all. I have went through numerous mortgage lenders to get approved for my home loan and to be honest I'm so happy and glad that I chosen to stick with Skart. He was very pleasant ,professional in every way. he answered all my questions ( and I never had a concern) that I had and he never lied to me about anything. Skart has never charged me $500 or any money to get approved for anything . I was pre-approved and approved for my home loan because my credit and payment history was where it needed to be. I went through the necessary steps that I was supposed to go through to get approved and I worked very hard for it. Skart led me down the right path and he did not blindside me whatsoever. I would recommend Skart to the entire universe because he's amazing in everyway . He works hard and endlessly and takes his job very seriously. His partners he work with and underwriters were amazing as well. There was always communication on what needed to be done and I loved that for I love communication and love to know what's going on. My experience buying my first home with Skart had been nothing but bliss for me. I also recommended Skart to my family , friends, colleagues you name It I did. Skart thank you so much again for your endless hard work and dedication. Me and my family are finally happy and blessed now that we have our first home!
