Scotsman Guide releases list of 2018 Top Mortgage Lenders

SALT LAKE CITY – Sept. 30, 2019 - Scotsman Guide once again recognized Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc.(PRMI) as a Top Mortgage Lender for Top Overall Volume. The June 2019 issue listed 2018’s top volume producers. With a total volume of over $4.7 billion and 21,452 loans closed, PRMI ranked 26th in the nation.

Scotsman Guide has published its Top Mortgage Lender rankings for seven years and describes it as “the mortgage industry’s most comprehensive, most intensely verified list of its kind.” PRMI has appeared four times on the list for the Top Overall Volume category in addition to appearing on other Scotsman Guide industry recognition lists.

PRMI’s Chief Executive Officer, Kenneth Knudson, said 2018 was a challenging year and gave credit to his team for finding success despite the difficult circumstances. “Last year, the whole industry saw a decline in overall production,” Knudson said. “The conditions of the 2018 market made it that much tougher to keep our numbers up, but we have great people at PRMI, and we’re gratified to be among the top mortgage lenders in the nation.”
