We spent 4 months jumping through hoops for a national bank last year. Even though our loan was finally approved, massive delays in underwriting resulted in the sellers being unwilling to extend the contract a 3rd time. This year, in a seller's market where homes are under contract within days of being listed, Paul was the secret weapon we needed. He was always available and responded immediately as needed. His experience and knowledge of the lending process and industry is incredible. He has his finger on the pulse of the Boise/Treasure Valley, Idaho market. We decided to buy without a real estate agent. Paul provided the extra advice we needed and the transaction was very smooth. We went from offer to closing in under a month. He found us a better loan program than the one we planned to use and our down payment and closing costs were lower than expected. I worked as a senior officer of a local bank for several years. We were moving from Missouri, we had found a mortgage company in Idaho and began the process of the never ending paper work. After two months, and after being told all paperwork was completed and we were approved; we put our house on the market. Within a very short time our house was sold. We found a home in Idaho and was counting the days till we would move. Suddenly, our mortgage company who had assured us we were approved, told us we would have to wait two or more months! They had messed up and needed further documentation. Needless to say we acted quickly and were referred to Paul Anderson. Paul is intelligent, responds to questions immediately, and treats his clients with great respect. My husband and I are biologists with PhD's; our language is not the same as a loan officer and we are deeply grateful for his time and patience explaining new state laws, city ordinances, county rules, we believe we learned from the PhD of loan officers. Due to the horrible job the other mortgage company did we ended up staying at an Arbnb in Boise for three weeks. Every day Paul or a member of his staff checked in giving us updates, checking on us and assuring us we would be in our new home by the end of the month. (we thanked them shaking our heads really wondering if it could happen that fast.) By the end of the month we moved into our new home! At closing Paul and our wonderful realtor were with us at closing. We presented Paul with a Bat Man t-shirt. He took us through a harrowing experience and ended it graciously, clearly, and accurately. We still enjoy talking with Paul and look forward To seeing him again. Paul is a Great Loan Officer! He always broke everything down to where it could be understood. Any documents or request for documents that he ever sent me was very self-explanatory and professional. Paul always went way above his call of duty to make sure that our loan closed in a timely manner. His communication with us was outstanding. Anytime there was any updates on our loan he called us right away. Paul also has a great team that he works very closely with.
