My only challenges came from being an inexperienced borrower. Keri was patient with me. Keri, we loved your can do attitude and team spirit, as well as your willingness to work with us on understanding things like the rate buy down, closing costs and how loan payoff works. We got really scared when we had to ask for two extensions from the seller and were worried we would lose the place to the next bidder. What I wish had been different is I wish you could have given us a better idea of how difficult it could be to prove our income while moving and changing job scenarios. It felt like we wasted a lot of time with that and ended up having to ask for extensions because of it. We were also frustrated with how long closing was taking and the extra extensions that had to be requested because of it. We know you worked hard for us and really appreciate all you did that we knew and didn't know about. I just wished there had been better up front communication about the things it was hard for us to know to ask about but that at the end seemed like par for the course with getting a loan with these circumstances. Thank you for all your work and for helping pull it all together for us. We really are grateful to you for helping us get our first home! And we are so excited about this place.
