I might be incorrect, but I do wonder if more preliminary work could have been done on the bankrupcy to prepare us all for that delay. Origionally we were scheduled to close weeks earlier. no one was prepared for the 4 plus week "delay". I have not run into these surprises before when I have had a bankrupcy before as my lenders knew exactly how long and all the hoops before hand. again, i could be wrong, but based on the other realtor we had scheduled closing super "early" and come to find out we had to have judges approvals and all kinds of things. This really set up my seller for disappointment early on. We then got "delayed" multiple times waiting on clearance. So I feel like having been better prepared for this, the buyers agent wouldnt have set us up for an early close. Of course, I can be wrong, but this is the start of the delays for us.
